Exfoliate & moisturize your skin before you come for your spray tan.

Your skin has a buildup of dead skin cells on top its top layer. The thicker the layer, the sooner your spray tan will rub off.  By exfoliating, you remove the dead skin cells and thus leave a clean canvas for a perfect and longer lasting spray tan.  It is important to use either an exfoliating glove or products that do not contain any oils, otherwise the oily barrier can stop the spray tanning solution getting through.  Moisturize your skin (water based product only) after every bath or shower to increase the life of your tan.

Don’t wear any deodorant or makeup before spray tan.

Many deodorants will stop spray tanning solution going through. Some others may turn the armpits green. Few moisturizers and makeup products can act as a barrier, not letting the full amount of the solution to attach itself to the skin.

As soon as you’ve had your spray tan you can apply deodorant and make up.

Preparing for your spray tan session

It is recommended to wear loose clothing after your spray session.

The excess of the spray tanning solution is wiped off with a towel after your session or dry out in front of a fan, the tan needs to “set”. This process will take about an three to four hours.  It is recommended to bring clothes and shoes as loose as possible to wear after your spray tanning session, to make sure nothing rubs off.

Wax or Shave your legs before you come for your spray tan.

If you need to shave or wax your legs, do it before your session.  Make sure that you wash your legs after waxing to remove any wax residue.  If you shave your legs after spray session, you will take off some of your tan during the process.
